The MVCC Office for Accessibility Resources (OAR) is committed to providing leadership, advocacy and services to the college community to ensure a physical, academic, social and attitudinal environment in which any student or visitor can participate with equity and dignity.
The Office of Accessibility Resources (OAR) Vision Statement:
The MVCC Office of Accessibility Resources believes in Universal Design, an approach that results in instruction, programs, services, and facilities that can be used with maximum flexibility and usability by the widest possible range of individuals, regardless of their personal characteristics, abilities, and disabilities.
OAR Office is located in Francis A. Wilcox Hall (Formerly IT Building) - Room 129 A-E (Inside the Learning Commons)
Directions to our OAR on the campus:
When driving into Utica, and if you use GPS, the specific address for the Utica MVCC campus is 1101 Sherman Drive, Utica, NY 13501. The OAR office is located in the Wilcox hall building (The one with the Theater and has a clock on the outside). When going in the main doors you will see a set of stairs and an elevator to your right, across from that is a door that has “Learning Commons” over the door.
It is a big room with lots of computers. The OAR office is in the back of the room.

showing our area.

Online Accommodative Test Scheduling System
How to schedule tests/quizzes:
Students should schedule all quizzes and exam with the test center at least 3 business days in advance. The online testing sign-up system is currently unavailable.
Students will need to call the Test Center at 315-731-5802 or stop into our office in Payne Hall 104a to schedule exams.
The new online scheduling system will be available soon.
The MVCC disability offices in Utica and Rome are National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) voter registration sites.
