Financial Aid Office
The Financial Aid Office is here to assist you in securing adequate funding to meet your educational expenses at MVCC. We are dedicated to helping with all Financial Aid questions and committed to improving the financial literacy of our students.
The first step in securing funding begins with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). All grant, loan, and work-study applicants need to complete this application to determine eligibility for need-based financial aid programs. The FAFSA website is fafsa.ed.gov. There is also an online tutorial you may find useful.
Please note: In order to complete or edit the FAFSA, you must create a Federal Student Aid ID (FSA ID). If you experience difficulty with establishing or have forgotten your Federal Student Aid ID credentials, you may call 1-800-557-7394 for assistance.
The current FAFSA is the 2020-2021 FAFSA. The 2020-2021 FAFSA is used for Summer 2020, Fall 2020, and Spring 2021. You will use your 2018 IRS Federal income tax information to complete the 2010-2021 FAFSA.
