Purpose
This site helps anyone who creates, reviews, or owns MVCC web content understand accessibility basics and apply them in everyday work. You do not need technical skills.
You just need to make sure everyone can access the same information - including people who use screen readers, keyboards, captions, or other assistive technology.
How to Use This Site
Review Mode (no CMS access)
Use the What to Look For sections on each page to review content directly in your browser.
Editor Mode (ModernCampus CMS users)
Use the How to Fix It sections for step-by-step guidance when creating or updating pages.
5-Minute Page Check
Before publishing (or when reviewing a page):
- Read only the section titles - does the structure make sense?
- Ignore images - would the page still be clear?
- Scan links - do they explain where they go?
- Look for tables, videos, or PDFs - are they necessary and usable?
- Ask: could someone use this page without a mouse?
If anything feels confusing, it probably needs attention.
