Oneida County residents who are 60 years of age or older can sign up to audit certain courses tuition-free. Audit is on a space-available basis and may be requested no more than two days prior to the start of classes. Classes that cannot be audited are those that are non-credit or laboratory classes, which would require additional instructional equipment or supplies, such as in the sciences or culinary classes.

Those auditing a class under this program may attend and participate without being tested and will receive no course credit. Students will earn a grade of "AU," which carries no weight toward GPA calculations. Textbooks are available at the student's expense. MVCC is not responsible for any expenses other than tuition. All inquiries regarding Senior Citizen Audit should be directed to the Office of Records and Registration at 315-792-5336.

To apply for the Senior Citizen Audit Program, please visit the Registrar’s Office in Payne Hall, Room 157A, during regular business hours.
