Mohawk Valley Community College will host Instant Accept Days leading up to the Fall 2019 semester, which begins on Wednesday, Sept. 4.

Instant Accept Days will be held Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays through Aug. 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., on both the Utica and Rome campuses.

The events are designed for all types of students, whether they are just getting started with their college plans or reconsidering their current career or college path. During these times, students can, in one visit to campus, take care of applying, placement testing, and other steps required for convenient entry to college. Students who drop in to the Utica or Rome Admissions offices with official high school transcripts or equivalency will be able to apply, receive an admissions decision and letter of acceptance, meet with Financial Aid, and take or schedule placement tests if needed. Health forms and other steps to enroll at MVCC for the Fall 2019 semester will be provided in person.

Traditional methods of applying for admission and completing steps to enroll will still be offered, and the MVCC Admissions Office is fully staffed to support students and their families in making application decisions and taking care of the necessary paperwork.

MVCC, New York State’s first community college, offers more than 80 academic programs in a variety of disciplines, 170 transfer agreements with four-year colleges and universities, and career placement opportunities immediately after completion. MVCC continues to be one of the most affordable colleges in the state, with tuition at less than $4,600 for the academic year. To apply online, students can go to www.mvcc.edu/apply.
