Mohawk Valley Community College is hosting two Halloween-themed events for families this month — one in Utica and the other in Rome.
The MVCC Pumpkin Party will take place Saturday, Oct. 26, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Wilcox Hall Lobbies at the Utica Campus. The afternoon will be packed with fall fun for kids, including pumpkin painting, a visit with Wednesday Addams and Jack Skellington from Cait’s Character Corner, and lots of treats. Costumes are encouraged. Tickets are $10 per child at mvcc.edu/tickets.
Trick-or-Treat Street will be held Tuesday, Oct. 29, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Plumley Complex Atrium at the Rome Campus. Families are invited to bring the kids in costume for a festive indoor trick-or-treating experience featuring 20 local businesses, candy giveaways, and community spirit for all ages. Admission is free.
