Mohawk Valley Community College invites families to a fun-filled Touch-a-Truck event on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. at its Rome Campus, located at 1101 Floyd Ave. (This event was rescheduled from its original date of Tuesday, April 29, due to forecasts of inclement weather.)
This free, hands-on event offers children and families the chance to explore a variety of vehicles and learn about the roles they play in our community. Food trucks also will be on site. A limited quantity of $10 food vouchers will be available for use at one of the participating food trucks, thanks to Assemblywoman Marianne Buttenschon and the NYS First Responders Grant for the Rome branch of the NAACP. Vouchers will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
