Each year, several hundred students over the age of 25 choose to enroll at MVCC. Our students are parents, dislocated workers, veterans, GED recipients, non-native English speakers, senior citizens, and so much more! Whether you are returning to education after a long break or entering college for the first time, our Student Support Advisors can help you find the right path to help you reach your goals.

MVCC has been serving military veterans since 1946, offering programs leading to technical and semiprofessional employment in business and industry. MVCC continues to serve active military personnel, veterans and their dependents. Our Veterans Education Services Office can help you with applying for VA educational benefits, as well as navigating the college enrollment process. At MVCC, we welcome students from all around the world! Our International Admissions and Student Services Office is here to assist you with any questions about admissions, visa and immigration, the College, adjusting to a new culture and community, or anything about studying and living in the United States.

Looking to re-enroll at MVCC? Welcome back! No matter how long you’ve been gone, we are ready to help you find the right path to reach your goals. If you are coming back to the College after being out for at least four consecutive semesters, you will be required to meet with a Student Support Advisor. Returning students can set up an appointment with an advisor by calling the Holistic Student Support Office in Utica at 315-731-5710 or the Student Service Center in Rome at 315-334-7709.

MVCC has several ways students can begin their college career and earn college credits while still in high school. Credits earned are transferable so you can continue your education at MVCC or take them with you as you continue to work on your degree. Learn more about the options for high school students.

 After completing your application and submitting all the necessary paperwork for admission to MVCC, your application will be reviewed by our Admissions staff and you will be notified in a timely manner. Once accepted to MVCC, please follow the Steps to Enroll.
