PGP Digital Toolkits

The digital toolkits, funded by the Pathway to Graduation Project, were created to support faculty and adjuncts teaching gateway courses and improve student completion.  The toolkits are accessible through Brightspace, but you have to be added as a user before they appear in your Brightspace course list.

Each toolkit is different, but generally they contain syllabus templates, supplemental videos, sample assignments, rubrics, OER, and active learning activities.  The toolkits are meant for faculty, but contents can be easily copied to student course sites.

How do I get access to a toolkit?

Email Jocelyn Ireland to be added to a toolkit. After you're added, the toolkit course site will appear in your Brightspace course list.

Who created the toolkits?

The toolkits were created by seasoned faculty with experience teaching the course and the support of the Instructional Design Librarian. See who participated on each toolkit team.

How can I contribute to the toolkits?

The goal is to keep the toolkits as updated and relevant as possible. Contributions from gateway course instructors are appreciated. Rubrics, engaging assignments or lesson plans, and active learning activities are particularly needed. Email Jocelyn Ireland with your ideas.
