The Jeanne Clery Act
In efforts to increase safety on campus and adhere to federal regulations, Mohawk Valley Community College must comply with the Clery Act requirements and must understand what the law entails, where their responsibilities lie, and what they can do to actively foster campus safety. The Clery Act requires colleges to publish an Annual Security Report by October 1 each year. The report includes campus crime statistics for the previous three calendar years, as well as information about the College’s safety and security policies and procedures.
