Students must have their financial aid accepted or be prepared to pay on registration day, and they must submit a certificate of residency to the Business Office beforehand. If financial aid is not completed, students can still secure their schedules with a partial payment.

Holistic Student Support Office

Every matriculated student at MVCC has an assigned Student Support Advisor (SSA). SSAs regularly communicate important college information, deadlines, and events to students throughout the semester.

SSAs provide guidance to help you create, modify, and achieve your individual educational goals while enrolled at MVCC. You and your Student Support Advisor work together as a team to best understand the direction and purpose of a college education for you. Whether it's just a few classes or earning a degree, your SSA is here to support you in whatever you need.

Student Support Advisors help you:

• Develop your educational plan by aligning your major with your career goals
• Select appropriate courses
• Prepare for registration each semester
• Plan for the future by discussing career and/or transfer goals
• Access other support services and resources
