A step-by-step guide for veteran students
If you’re an active-duty service member or Veteran, a member of the National Guard or Reserves, or a qualified survivor or dependent, you may be eligible for the GI Bill or other educational assistance. Find out which Federal VA Educational Benefits program(s) you qualify for.
Once you have determined your eligibility, apply for your VA Education Benefits. The VA will mail a Certificate of Eligibility to the address you put in the application. Wait time can be up to six weeks.
Submit the required documents for your specific benefits to the MVCC Veterans Education Services office.
