SUNY Registered Apprenticeship Program

Mohawk Valley Community College (MVCC), through the State University of New York (SUNY), is leading the expansion of Registered Apprenticeships across New York State in partnership with the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) and the U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL).

MVCC serves as the fiscal team lead for this grant in Advanced Manufacturing and other non-construction sectors, helping ensure funding reaches employers and apprentices throughout the state.

Building New York's Workforce

This initiative connects employers to the NYSDOL Registered Apprenticeship program and provides funding to support training, education, and long-term workforce development. Employers receive financial assistance to cover the related instruction costs of their apprentices, strengthening their teams while investing in the future.
