Wings of the Hawk
The Wings of the Hawk Award celebrates exceptional teamwork within the College and is awarded each fall and spring semester. This recognition is uniquely passed forward—the current award holders select the next recipients, with final approval by the College Cabinet. The honored group receives an engraved plate on the Wings of the Hawk wall plaque in the MVCC Board Room, the right to display the Wings Sculpture (traveling award) in their office area, and an employee celebration valued up to $250. Recipients are not eligible to receive this award again for five years.
