C3 is The College Community Connection. We partner with local community agencies to provide assistance to students facing non-academic barriers so they can focus on completing their academic goals.

Any current MVCC student.

We have a food pantry and emergency housing on campus, we may be able to provide assistance for daycare, eldercare, and transportation. C3 staff connects students to resources on campus and in the community for assistance regarding mental health, domestic violence, employment, healthcare, tax services and any other barriers or difficulties the students may be experiencing.

You can email staff at C3@mvcc.edu, call 315-792-5342 or 315-792-5492 to speak with C3 staff between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
C3 staff will speak with students briefly to discuss what the student needs assistance with and then the student fills out a short online intake form if they chose to use C3 services.
The C3 pantry is located on the Utica Campus and is open between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. All Utica and Rome MVCC students are able to access the pantry. If needs arise outside of regular business hours please contact C3 staff during business hours for assistance to develop a plan to meet your needs.
Yes, C3 can work with you to make a plan for emergency housing while something is put in place for long term housing.
Contact C3 staff as soon as possible so they can work with you and Residence Life to make a plan for housing during breaks.
C3 may be able to assist by providing a semester bus pass or bus passes for a limited time until you transportation difficulties are resolved.
