About Phi Theta Kappa
Phi Theta Kappa is the official International Honor Society for Two-Year Colleges.
The purpose of Phi Theta Kappa is to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. To achieve this purpose, Phi Theta Kappa provides opportunity for the development of leadership and service, for an intellectual climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, for lively fellowship for scholars, and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence.
Our chapter at MVCC is Lambda Beta, and we have more than 200 current members. This semester, we have invited more than 500 students to join!
Students who have been invited to join Phi Theta Kappa for Spring 2020 have until May 5, 2020, to accept membership, and may do so electronically: application form and details.
We hope you will accept this invitation to join the honor society — you deserve it!
