Mohawk Valley Community College will host two SUNY Reconnect/Adult Learner Information Sessions for those ages 20 and older who are considering college for the first time, returning to finish a degree, or seeking new skills to advance their careers.

These informal, meet-and-greet-style events will be held from 4 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, and Tuesday, July 28, 2026, in the Payne Hall Lobby at MVCC’s Utica Campus. Attendees may arrive at any time during the sessions to meet one-on-one with representatives from Admissions, Financial Aid, and Student Support Services to receive personalized guidance and have their questions answered.

During the information sessions, attendees will have the opportunity to:

  • Explore MVCC’s degree and certificate programs.
  • Learn about specialized workforce training and free FastTrack career programs offered through MVCC’s Center for Corporate and Community Education.
  • Get a clear picture of the admissions process and flexible enrollment options.
  • Connect with academic and student support advisors.
  • Discover the comprehensive resources available to help students succeed, including personalized advisement, tutoring through the Learning Commons, Accessibility Resources, and Veteran Services.
  • Get information on financial aid, scholarships, and other affordability resources.
