Mohawk Valley Community College will host special Information Sessions for Adult Learners this month at its Utica Campus. Designed for individuals 20 and older, these events are ideal for those looking to start college for the first time, return to finish a degree, or build new skills for career advancement.

The session will be held in the Payne Hall Lobby from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16. 

Attendees will have the opportunity to:

  • Explore MVCC’s degree and certificate programs and free FastTrack career training.
  • Get a clear picture of the admissions process and flexible enrollment options.
  • Connect with academic and student support advisors.
  • Learn about comprehensive resources dedicated to student success, including personalized advisement, Accessibility Resources, Veterans Services, and more.
  • Learn about financial aid options, scholarships, and payment plans.

The event also offers the chance to learn more about attending MVCC for free through SUNY Reconnect, designed for New York State residents ages 25-55 who have not yet earned a college degree.
