Mohawk Valley Community College hospitality students are once again hosting an in-person luncheon series this fall on Wednesdays, Oct. 12 through Nov. 16, with seatings at 11:45 a.m., noon, and 12:15 p.m. on the College’s Rome Campus, 1101 Floyd Ave. The cost is $18, tax included.
The luncheons provide students in the Culinary Arts Management AAS and Food Service Administration: Restaurant Management AAS programs with a creative outlet to focus what they’re learning in class and they determine the themes, recipes, menus, food production, and service. This semester, students will prepare and serve a four-course prix fixe meal featuring freshly made soups and salads, chicken and waffles, shrimp po’boy sandwich, a roasted pork quesadilla, flourless chocolate tart, and lemon tart.
Reservations for up to four people can be made by visiting https://mvcceats.square.site/ or by calling Dustin Swiss at 315-334-7720.
