Mohawk Valley Community College’s Respiratory Care Associate in Applied Science degree program has earned the Distinguished Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credentialing Success Award for the third time, a recognition through the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) of the College’s success in inspiring its graduates to reach their career goals.

Programs receiving the award were required to have three or more years of outcomes data, hold accreditation without a progress report, have documented RRT credentialing success of 90% or above, and meet or exceed established CoARC thresholds for Certified Respiratory Therapist credentialing success and retention.

“The MVCC Respiratory Care Program is honored to have received this award for the third consecutive year,” said Melissa Copperwheat, dean of MVCC’s School of Health Sciences. “We look forward to the continued success of these graduates as they enter the healthcare field.”
