The Mohawk Valley Community College Cultural Series will present “An Evening with Author and Ufologist Bill Birnes” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, in Festine Auditorium, at the College’s Rome Campus, 1101 Floyd Ave. Admission is $5 general, $2 for MVCC employees, and free for MVCC students.

Birnes, publisher of UFO Magazine, is most well-known from the weekly series “UFO Hunters” on History Channel. Each week, he and his team of researchers travel to the sites of world-famous UFO events to explore the encounter and arrive at answers about what happened. Birnes is well-qualified to lead such a team, having written and edited more than 25 books and encyclopedias in the fields of human behavior, true crime, current affairs, history, psychology, business, computing, and the paranormal.
