Mohawk Valley Community College Assistant Professor Brandon Walcutt will present the International Café & Conversation “International Trade” as part of the MVCC Cultural Series at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, April 7, in Alumni College Center room 116 at the College’s Utica Campus.
The conversation will provide an overview of the activities related to international trade locally, the impact they have on our lives, and approaches to finding work in this exciting field. The event will be repeated on the Rome Campus at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, in Festine Auditorium in the Plumley Complex.
Walcutt, who teaches economics and entrepreneurship courses in MVCC’s School of Business and Hospitality, has worked in international business, entrepreneurship, consulting, and higher educational instruction throughout his career. After more than eight years in management and technology consulting, he relocated to South Korea where he spent 16 years running several firms and teaching economics. He returned to New York in 2017 and joined the MVCC faculty, primarily teaching economics and entrepreneurship courses.
