The Mohawk Valley Community College Gender and Sexuality Alliance (GSA) will host a drag show at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, in the Alumni College Center Snack Bar at the College’s Utica Campus. Admission is free, and all are welcome to attend.

The show, part of the MVCC Cultural Series, is being held in recognition of International Transgender Day of Visibility, which is celebrated around the world every March 31. It will feature local and regional drag performers Electra Qute of Utica, Samantha Vega of Rochester, Natalie Taylor of Oneonta, Sparkle Royale of Syracuse, Psy Kodick of Rochester, and Tee Sparks of Boston, Mass., who all are involved with their local trans communities and LGBTQ organizations. There will be time at the end of the event for a Q&A with the performers.

MVCC’s Gender and Sexuality Alliance is a student-run club that provides support and education on LGBTQ+ issues in society. Click here to learn more about the club.

The MVCC Cultural Series is brought to you by MVCC’s Cultural Events Council, in collaboration with MVCC’s Program Board, with significant support from the Student Activity Fee. For the complete series lineup and ticket sales, visit www.mvcc.edu/campus-events
