The Mohawk Valley Community College Anime Club is looking for panelists, vendors, and artists for Taka-Con, a local convention for fans of anime, comics, gaming, and all things “nerdy,” being held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 9, in Wilcox Hall at MVCC’s Utica Campus, 1101 Sherman Drive.

Organizers are looking for panelists to present one-hour workshops on related topics. The workshops should be interesting, interactive, and able to be done in a classroom setting (computers and projectors will be available). They also are seeking select vendors and artists to display and sell their items from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For full consideration and to be included in the original printed programs, please apply by March 20 by filling out the form available online here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdhSTyzGD7vYGInyIzoAKbMEDqTgL2vk-Oa7766_C_urtdapA/viewform.
