Students in Mohawk Valley Community College Hospitality programs are once again preparing Wednesday lunches for the public to purchase for takeout, complete with curbside pickup at MVCC’s Rome Campus, 1101 Floyd Ave.
For the Spring 2022 semester, takeout lunches will be available on the following Wednesdays: March 2, 9, 23, and 30; and April 6 and 13. Each lunch will consist of a wrap, choice of two sides, dessert, and a bottle of water, all for $12. The menu options are:
Sandwiches:
- Shrimp Po’Boy Wrap
- Philly Steak Wrap
- Chicken Salad Wrap
- Cuban Wrap
- Portobello Mushroom Wrap
Sides:
- French Fries
- Creamed Spinach
- Garden Salad with Italian Dressing
- Broccoli Salad
- Soup of the Day

MVCC’s Hospitality programs include degrees in Culinary Arts Management and Food Service Administration: Restaurant Management, and a certificate in Chef Training. Each semester, students in these programs host a series of lunches or dinners, allowing them a creative outlet to practice what they learn in class.
