The Center for Leadership Excellence (CLE) at Mohawk Valley Community College has announced its Board of Directors for 2021-22, expressing gratitude for its board’s unwavering support throughout an especially challenging year.

“This past year demonstrated how crucial it is for leaders to have the ability to navigate disruption and stay the course during unprecedented times,” said CLE Executive Director Kristen Skobla. “We thank each of these outstanding leaders in our community and on our board for helping to shape the CLE mission and give civic leaders the tools to build expertise and find their voice to address complex community issues.”

Three new members — Romesh Amarasinghe, Utica National Insurance Group; Melissa Mann, Utica First Insurance Company; and Cymil Hamilton, Upstate Cerebral Palsy — have joined the 2021-22 CLE Board of Directors, which includes the following officers and members:

  • Treasurer: Jo-Ann Ricci, GPO Federal Credit Union

The Center for Leadership Excellence, a partnership with Mohawk Valley Community College, works to develop effective and engaged leaders in all areas of the community, offering annual training experiences that serve a diverse group of individuals.
