Mohawk Valley Community College will be hosting community information sessions for the 2020 Census in February in which residents can learn more about why the Census is important, how to complete the Census questionnaire, and how data from the Census is used. Sessions will be run by a Census Bureau representative and will take place on both Utica and Rome campuses and at MVCC’s Education Outreach Center as follows:

Utica Campus, 1101 Sherman Drive:

  • Monday, Feb. 3: 1-2 p.m., Wilcox Hall room 225
  • Monday, Feb. 10: 9-10 a.m., Alumni College Center room 116

Rome Campus, 1101 Floyd Ave.:

  • Monday, Feb. 24: 11 a.m.-noon, Plumley Complex room 119

Education Outreach Center, 524 Elizabeth St., Utica

  • Monday, Feb. 17: 9-10 a.m., room 108
  • Monday, Feb. 24: 1-2 p.m., room 108
