Mohawk Valley Community College is looking for future Hawks and will host an Athletics Instant Admit Day on Friday, March 22, starting at 10 a.m. in the Robert R. Jorgensen Athletic/Events Center at the Utica Campus, 1101 Sherman Drive.

The event is designed for high school seniors to learn what MVCC has to offer both on the field as well as in the classroom. It will feature an admissions presentation and instant acceptance to MVCC with a completed application and high school transcript. Visitors will have the opportunity to tour the campus as well as meet with athletic coaches for all of Hawk Athletics, including Baseball, Basketball, Bowling, Cross-Country, Golf, Lacrosse, Softball, Soccer, Tennis, Track and Field, and Volleyball. Lunch is included.

The schedule for the day is as follows:

• 10-10:15 a.m.: Arrival, registration, and welcome
• 10:15-11 a.m.: Instant Admit/Admissions presentation
• 11-11:45 a.m.: Campus tours
• 11:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m.: Lunch
• 12:15-1 p.m.: Meet and greet with MVCC coaching staff
• 1 p.m.: Placement testing (optional)
