Mental Health First Aid Training (2-days)

when someone is facing mental health or substance use challenges and what you can
do to help them. This is a 2-day training that runs 9am-1pm, both days, presented

MVCC's NCAE Cyber Game

cybersecurity competition for beginners that has served over 1,000 students from 100
different colleges each year since 2021. The presenter will also share the findings
of research into the experiences of women and girls within the even.

Reading for Fun Book Club

Love to read but want to keep it light and hopeful? Same here. This book club is all
about enjoying great, non- academic reads in even better company. We’ll explore one
book every two months (two per semester), giving us space to absorb and reflect, chat
about what we loved (or didn’t), and share a few laughs along the way. At this kickoff
institute session, we’ll exchange ideas about the genres that pique your interest
so we can launch the club over the summer and keep it going in AY 26–27. Each get-
together will feature thoughtful discussion questions, plenty of conversation, and
zero pressure. So come join us for good books, good people, and a reminder of how

connections with your colleagues. No prior poetry experience needed — just bring your
