An online appointment-making calendar, like Microsoft Bookings, makes it easy to streamline the scheduling process. Make it easy for co-workers and students to find and book available times, thus enhancing accessibility and efficiency in managing office hours and meetings.


  1. Go to office.com and sign in with your MVCC email login.
  2. Once signed in with your MVCC Microsoft account, select Apps and locate Bookings. You may have to select More Apps to find it.
  3. You automatically have a personal Bookings page that syncs with your MVCC Outlook calendar.
  4. There may be two default meeting types created for you (15 mins. & 30 mins.). You can edit to customize these default options by clicking on them.
  5. When you click on the meeting type, you can make several customizations. For example, you can change the title, length of meeting, location, and set availability times. By default it will see what times you are available from your Outlook calendar, but you can set what times you want people to see you are available for that meeting type.
  6. You can add different meeting types. For example, you could create a booking calendar for in-person office hour appointments and another one for online appointments then share your bookings page with both options with students.
  7. You can share a specific meeting type calendar or share your Bookings page which will show every meeting option you have available.
  8. You can also add a Bookings icon to your email signature by selecting the Share button and then Email signature settings.
