Mohawk Valley Community College will host two in-person Columbus Day Information Sessions on Monday, Oct. 12, in Wilcox Hall room 225 at its Utica Campus, 1101 Sherman Drive.
Each session will include a presentation highlighting MVCC’s academic programs, support services, campus life, and an overview of the admissions process. A campus tour also is included, but may be limited to the lobby of each building for the health and safety of the college community. The morning session will be held at 10 a.m., and the afternoon session will begin at 1:30 p.m. To register for a session, visit www.mvcc.edu/admissions/visit/on-campus-events.php.
All visitors to campus must follow the College’s COVID-19 health and safety protocols, which include checking in at the Campus Checkpoint to provide their contact information, complete a symptom screening, and have their temperature checked. Masks must be worn by every person on campus at all times, and everyone must practice social distancing and maintain at least six feet of space between other individuals. For complete details, visit www.mvcc.edu/restart.
Please note that we are not allowing walk-in visitors at this time. Students and families must pre-register for their visit. Sessions also have a cap on the number of people we can host in each session. If you don’t want to come to campus, please schedule a virtual appointment by contacting the Admissions Office at 315-792-5354 or admissions@mvcc.edu.
