To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, Mohawk Valley Community College is requesting that people other than employees and students use phone, email, video conference, or website solutions to address issues and conduct normal business when possible. Additionally, the College is restricting access as follows:

  • Food service on the Utica Campus will only be available to students and employees between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. in the Hawk’s Nest dining area. All food and drink will be served by a food service employee or will be prepackaged for take-out.
  • The College Bookstore will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • The pool and fitness centers on both campuses will be closed as of 8 p.m. today until further notice.

These actions will help reduce the number of people on campus and help those who are on campus adhere to the recommended social distancing guideline of minimizing groups and maintaining six feet of separation between people.

All campus events and meetings with over 50 people are being looked at on a case-by-case basis, and some are already being canceled. For more information, visit www.mvcc.edu/covid19.
