Educational Technologies Department and Support Center (Smart Classrooms, Distance Learning and Faculty/Staff Resource Center)
The Educational Technologies Department is designed to support employee needs and develop classroom materials using state-of-the-art multimedia tools. It is an ideal place to develop classroom presentations, and many other applications with the support of a professional educational technology specialists.
The Center offers group and individual training on a wide variety of software and hardware. Training sessions are scheduled throughout a semester. Please call for more information.
Our Centers are located in both Utica and Rome at:

- Monday-Thursday – 8:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Friday- 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

To schedule the use of audio-visual equipment, films, videos and other media, please contact us at least two (2) days in advance of the anticipated use. Requests for audio-visual support should be discussed with a technical assistant at least two (2) weeks in advance
The Center also supports Smart Classrooms, Distance Learning and the Faculty/Staff Resource Center. Please contact the Center to schedule Smart Classroom and training through the Faculty Staff Resources Center on classroom media tools, and for Distance Learning workshop times.
