Participate in Online Commuter Orientation
After registering for classes, all incoming new students will then participate in orientation. If the incoming student will be living in a residence hall, they will be invited to orientation hosted specifically by the Office of Residential Life. All new commuter students are encouraged to attend orientation on-campus before classes start in January.
New students who attend will have the opportunity to meet faculty in their departments, meet administrators, current students and other incoming students. On-campus orientation will also provide new students and their families with the chance to become acquainted with all that MVCC has to offer; with numerous campus resources, cultural events, and academic opportunities. Students who are unable to attend on-campus orientation will be able to participate in online orientation.
Incoming commuter students and their families have the choice of attending on-campus orientation on one of the following dates. Orientation dates will fill quickly, so please reserve your spot today!
