Description: This scholarship honors the achievements of Professor Friedberg and Professor Emeritus Grossman who were long standing members of the Mohawk Valley World Trade Council.  They helped to arrange seminars with MVCC dealing with the basics of how to export and import and the details associated with international payments.   This scholarship is open to International Studies and Business students and awarded to a student who has a strong interest in international business with a focus on working for a business who is involved in the area of international trade.

  • Must be matriculated as a full-time student in Accounting, Business Administration, or Liberal Arts & Sciences-International Studies
  • Must have earned at least 30 credits
  • Must have a GPA of 3.0
  • Must submit 2 letters of recommendation from full-time MVCC faculty
  • Write a 1-page essay on the importance of international trade to society and business

Description: This scholarship will be awarded to a student who is enrolled as a Drama Major.  The student must submit an essay (no more than 250 words) on “What does the theater mean to you?”
