Apr 5, 2016 - On Tuesday, April 5, SUNY Chancellor Nancy Zimpher presented the 2016 Chancellor’s Awards for Student Excellence to 248 students from across the university system. Three Mohawk Valley Community College students were among those who earned this honor: Kevin Parker, John Lowman, and Starkisha Robinson.

MVCC, Mohawk Valley Health System partner for EMS/Paramedic degree

Apr 4, 2016 - On Monday, April 4, Randall J. VanWagoner, President of Mohawk Valley Community College, and Robert C. Scholefield, Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer for the Mohawk Valley Health System, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for a credit-bearing, nationally accredited EMS/Paramedic degree program. The Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare EMS Program is an affiliate of the Mohawk Valley Health System.

Apr 1, 2016 - As part of the Mohawk Valley Community College Cultural Series, the Venerable Tenzin Yignyen, ordained Tibetan Buddhist Monk and visiting professor at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, will create a ceremonial sand mandala in the library in Payne Hall on MVCC’s Utica Campus.
