Singer-songwriter Wrabel to perform at MVCC’s Schafer Theater

iHeartRadio’s 2016 On the Verge Artist Wrabel will perform at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, in Schafer Theater, Information Technology Building, at Mohawk Valley Community College’s Utica Campus. Admission is $15 general, $10 for MVCC employees, and free for MVCC students.

According to iHeartRadio, Wrabel’s music “telescopes small moments into songs with big impact.” From his collaboration with Afrojack on the hit song “Ten Feet Tall” and his soulful debut EP “Sideways,” to his smash hit single “11 Blocks,” it’s easy to see why Wrabel is iHeartRadio’s latest On the Verge artist.

“I write a song because it’s probably something I won’t say out loud,” Wrabel says. “All the songs are true. It’s all my little details. That’s the only way I can survive: to be as open and transparent as I can be.”

Fresh off a national tour with Gavin DeGraw, this will be Wrabel’s second stop in the Mohawk Valley. His full-length debut album is expected to be released early this year. To learn more, visit
