Mohawk Valley Community College is hosting an information session about a Human Services degree program format tailored especially for adult learners, which is scheduled to begin in January. The session is at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 12, in Plumley Complex room 120 at MVCC’s Rome Campus, 1101 Floyd Ave.

The Adult Degree Program allows students to attend class one night a week on the Rome Campus for just over two years to earn an associate degree in Human Services. Students will have a convenient, fixed schedule of Wednesday night classes throughout the program, allowing them to focus on one course at a time with other adult students. Financial aid is available to those who qualify.

Students are encouraged to connect with MVCC’s Adult Learner Services Office to discover how this new format can fit into busy lives. Hassle-free registration, scheduled breaks, and support services are all a part of the program. Register today by calling 315-334-7705 or visiting www.mvcc.edu/infosessions.
