MVCC to host information sessions for Adult Degree Program in Human Services
Oct 4, 2018
Mohawk Valley Community College is hosting several information sessions about a Human Services degree program format tailored especially for adult learners, which is scheduled to begin in January.
The Adult Degree Program allows students to attend class one night a week on the Rome Campus for just over two years to earn an associate degree in Human Services. Students will have a convenient, fixed schedule of Wednesday night classes throughout the program, allowing them to focus on one course at a time with other adult students. Financial aid is available to those who qualify.
The sessions are at 6 p.m. on Wednesdays, Oct. 17, Nov. 14 and 28, and Dec. 12, in Plumley Complex room 120 at MVCC’s Rome Campus, 1101 Floyd Ave.
Students are encouraged to connect with MVCC’s Adult Learner Services Office to discover how this new format can fit into busy lives. Hassle-free registration, scheduled breaks, and support services are all a part of the program. Register today by calling 315-334-7705 or visiting www.mvcc.edu/infosessions.
