MVCC to host events to help students apply, enroll for Fall semester

Mohawk Valley Community College will host Enrollment Assistance Days this summer to help students begin or potentially complete the enrollment process in one day.
The events will take place at 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, and Thursday, Aug. 2, in Payne Hall at the College’s Utica Campus, 1101 Sherman Drive. The days are designed to provide students the opportunity to apply for admission, get accepted, take a placement test, meet with an academic advisor, register for classes, and explore and secure payment options (including assistance with financial aid and payment plans).
Those who plan to apply on the day of the event should bring proof of their high school graduation or equivalency (official sealed transcript preferred). Transfer students should submit official transcripts to MVCC prior to or on the day they visit. Transcripts must remain sealed to be considered official.
To help expedite the process, all participants should bring a government-issued photo ID, 2016 tax information (if filing a FAFSA), and Social Security number (if applicable).
