MVCC Instant Admit Weeks Provide Convenient Scheduling Options for Spring Semester

Mohawk Valley Community College will host a series of Instant Admit Weeks leading up to the Spring 2014 semester, which begins on Tuesday, Jan. 21.

Instant Admit Weeks will be held Dec. 16-20, Jan. 6-10, and Jan. 13-17. Hours are 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.

During these times, students can, in one visit to campus, take care of applying, placement testing, and other steps required for convenient entry to college. Students who drop in to the Utica or Rome Admissions Offices with official high school transcripts or equivalency will be able to apply, receive an admissions decision and letter of acceptance, and take or schedule placement tests if needed. Health forms and other steps to enroll at MVCC for the Spring 2014 semester will be provided in person.

Instant Admit Weeks are designed for all types of students, whether they are just getting started with their college plans or reconsidering their current career or college path.

Traditional methods of applying for admission and completing steps to enroll will still be offered, and the MVCC Admissions Office is fully staffed to support students and their families in making application decisions and taking care of the necessary paperwork.
