MVCC Foundation to hold Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Dec. 4

Mohawk Valley Community College’s Foundation will host a Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4, in room 225 and the second floor lobby of the Information Technology Building on the Utica Campus, 1101 Sherman Drive. This event is free and open to the public.
The MVCC Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have embraced our community, modeled the way, inspired confidence, and encouraged excellence at MVCC. Selections are also chosen based on business or professional achievements or awards, leadership service to the local community, personal achievements, leadership support and involvement at MVCC, significant contributions to MVCC athletics, and any other appropriate qualifications.
This year’s inductees, who have made significant contributions that have a lasting effect on the development, progress, and success of MVCC, are:
- John D. “Jack” Plumley (posthumously), former Oneida County executive and a driving force in the first expansion of MVCC’s Rome Campus
- Mark E. Radlowski, MVCC administrator and professor emeritus
- Colleen Peterson Wallace, the most decorated student athlete in MVCC history
- Donald C. Willner, MVCC dean and professor emeritus
