MVCC Cultural Series to host lecture by owners of Downtown Utica’s Bite Bakery

Doug and Jay Leonard, the owners of Bite Bakery and Café in Downtown Utica, will present the lecture “BITE: An Urban Project” as part of the Mohawk Valley Community College Cultural Series at 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, in Plumley Complex Room 119 at the Rome Campus, 1101 Floyd Ave.
The Leonards will discuss the overall process of starting a business, as well as trials and tribulations they encountered along the way. They will incorporate notes about urban renewal and how their business helped revitalize the Franklin Square neighborhood of Utica. Learn more at bitebakeryandcafe.com.
