Mohawk Valley YouthBuild is an eight-month program that engages at-risk, low-income individuals ages 18 to 24 who need to complete their high school education and develop career skills. The next class is scheduled to start on Monday, Jan. 8. The program prepares students to earn a high school equivalency diploma by successfully passing the TASC exam while developing job skills and training in the fields of construction and hospitality. Students are paid for their work in these areas while gaining real-world, hands-on experience. The program also assists students with building their resumes and planning for college or a career.
