Digital Animation Class For High School Juniors and Seniors

New this summer, Mohawk Valley Community College will be offering a condensed summer academy class in digital animation for high school students.
The five-week class will teach students the developmental elements of computer animation. Topics include user interface, various 3D modeling techniques, texture mapping, and timing. The course builds on the basic principles of traditional animation with the techniques of computer animation and production processes. It will be offered Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. – noon, from July 14-Aug. 15.
The cost of the class is $450, and some scholarships may be available. At the successful completion of the class, the student will earn 3 college credits.
Enrollment is limited and will be taken on a first-come basis.
