MVCC Shelter-in-Place Order Lifted

Nov 10, 2018 - At 11:00 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 10, the Mohawk Valley Community College Department of Public Safety received a report from the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office about a potentially emotionally disturbed person on or around campus. Following emergency notification procedures, MVCC enacted shelter-in-place procedures. With the assistance of Oneida County Sheriff’s Office and Utica Police Department, the individual was located off campus, unarmed.
