The Center for Language and Learning Design houses programs and courses that foster the transition to the College experience, that extend academic experiences in the areas of world languages, teacher preparation, educational sign language interpretation, and general education, and that provide academic support in the form of tutoring, study groups, workshops, supplemental instruction and learning communities participation.
The Center mission, “To help underprepared students to prepare and prepared students to excel in their college study and beyond,” speaks to our Center faculty members’ and professionals’ collective commitment to cultivating a nurturing and supportive learning environment for all students.
