A look at what is coming to the Mohawk Valley…


$1.5 billion has been invested into Nano Utica at SUNY IT with the Nano Marcy project also looming in the near future. Nano Utica refers to the Computer Chip Commercialization Center (Quad-C) currently under construction at the SUNY IT campus. Slated to open its doors in December 2014, Quad-C is expected to bring 1,500 jobs to the local area with a projected annual operating budget of $500 million when complete.


What will Quad-C look like:


Fabrication Building (FAB): 120,000 square foot, 4-component structure with a multi-level 56,000 square-foot clean room featuring a unique stacked design.


Central Utility Building (CUB): 56,000 square foot, three-story, 106 foot structure containing support utilities for the clean room facility


• 12.5 acre site on the SUNY IT campus


Auditorium: Large-tiered, 84-seat meeting, exhibit, and presentation area, including state-of-the-art web conferencing capabilities for global collaboration
