Off Campus Housing
There is ample off-campus housing available in the Utica area for those students who cannot be accommodated in the Residence Halls or who want to experience living on their own. Assistance in locating off-campus housing can be obtained by contacting the Residence Life Office.
The Residence Life Office maintains a "Resource Connection" to assist you in locating available houses, apartments and rooms near our campuses.
Members of the Residence Life staff are available to advise students with their housing concerns. Since all arrangements will be between landlord and student, a visit to the room or apartment is necessary before an agreement is made.
The college does not certify or recommend the housing located via our "Resource Connection" nor does it take any responsibility for financial, legal or maintenance relationship between the landlord and student. The Residence Life Office does provide a booklet entitled "Off Campus Housing Guide", which entails pertinent information for anyone who is renting or thinking of renting. Many of the pitfalls of renting can be avoided by having a clear understanding of what it means to rent.
