Magnet Bridge

Once again this year, Proctor High School juniors will have the opportunity to apply for the MVCC/Utica School District Magnet Bridge Program. This competitive scholarship is offered to students who have excelled academically in high school and who engage in a rigorous application process. Successful candidates will spend their senior year of high school taking a full-time schedule of college classes on the MVCC campus. The program, therefore, allows students to experience a college campus, to engage in a higher level of study and, in many cases, to earn credits that can be transferred to most colleges and universities. It provides students an important head start and helps ease the transition to college by familiarizing students with college expectations. Tuition and fees are covered by the Utica School District Magnet Office.
