Summary
Under the direction of head coach Bob Allison (7th season) the Softball team finished their season with a 27-10 record. The team tied for the Mountain Valley Conference Championship and was seeded third in the Regional Tournament. They defeated the number six seed Broome CC in the sub-regional round 2-1. In the double elimination final four the Hawks defeated Corning CC 7-4 before losing in the winner´s bracket to eventual regional and national champion Monroe CC 12-4. On the second day they were again pitted against host Corning CC and were eliminated from the tournament by a score of 6-4. The Hawks were led by Amanda Wilsey; second team All-American, first team All-Region and All-Conference, Maegan Jarecki; second team All-Region, Cherie Smith, Sara Roseen, Lindsay Heiser, and Lauren Morgan; first team All-Conference. Coach Bob Allison was selected as the Mountain Valley Conference Coach of the Year.
